Battle On The Bay features two completely separate tournaments running at the same time. Choose either the Bass Tournament or the Walleye Tournament!

The Countdown Is On!

The Battle On The Bay 2026 will be held at the Saginaw Bay in Michigan on August 15th, 2026. Online registration opens on March 31st, 2026 until 3:00 pm August 13th. After that, final registration must be done in person at the Captain’s meeting at 5pm on August 13th.

Registration Fees: $300

Dates

Friday, August 14th

  • Registration: 5pm-6pm
  • Captains Meeting: 6pm

Saturdy, August 15th

  • Blastoff: 6:30am
  • Tournament Hours: 6:30am-3pm

The Battle On The Bay fishing tournament is a premier competitive event on Michigan’s Saginaw Bay, bringing together passionate anglers targeting both bass and walleye. Open exclusively to Skeeter boat owners, this tournament celebrates high-performance fishing, sportsmanship, and community. Competitors face off in one of the region’s most productive fisheries, testing skill, strategy, and teamwork against changing conditions. With strong payouts, exciting weigh-ins, and a shared dedication to the Skeeter brand, Battle On The Bay delivers an unforgettable experience for serious anglers who value competition, camaraderie, and top-tier fishing on legendary waters.

Two Man Tournament + Single Youth Add On (Under 17 Years Old)

The Two-Man Fishing Tournament is open to teams of two anglers competing together for cash, prizes, and bragging rights on the bay. Teams may also add a third angler to their boat, provided the additional participant is 17 years old or younger, making it a great opportunity for families to get the next generation involved in competitive fishing.

Battle On The Bay

The Battle on the Bay fishing tournament on Saginaw Bay in Michigan, presented by Wonderland Marine West, is a highlight of the summer angling season. Hosted as a Skeeter Owners Appreciation event, this tournament brings anglers together on the productive waters of Saginaw Bay—known for bass and walleye fishing—for a full day of competitive action. Participants meet for a captains meeting the evening before to go over rules and details, then hit the water early the next day to fish from their boats and test their skills against fellow competitors. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a recreational fisherman, the event celebrates great fishing and community on Michigan’s iconic bay.
